Check out this link from walsworth yearbooks. This is a great example of beginning yearbook design. Practice on paper and create your own design! Use random photos or photos cut out from a magazine. Also put placeholder text where text will be placed. Practice with not having trapped text and notice white space and how much/little looks best.
